GEC Petroleum Development Company Limited (GPDC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Energy Company (GEC) that was established by Joe Obiago in 1991 to deliver services to the oil and gas sector in West Africa.

GPDC is the asset owner of a diverse portfolio of Oil & Gas assets in the Niger Delta and Anambra basin of Nigeria. There are 5 blocks (3 onshore & 2 offshore) and one marginal field licensed to GPDC and her partners.
GPDC is emerging as a major domestic gas player with an aggressive drive for placement gas supply solutions to integrated power plants, mini-fertilizer facilities, LPG recovery plants and other CH4 businesses related to domestic gas markets in Nigeria. A refined petroleum products trading line is included in our portfolio. In the next five years, GPDC plans to build a minimum of 250 mmbo reserves base with a guaranteed production of at least 50,000 barrels per day.
